Finding us
From Nenagh
From the Nenagh ring road, turn off at the Newtown/Portroe roundabout. Follow this road through Newtown and Portroe villages. After Portroe you will come down a steep hill, then pass signs for "The Graves of the Leinstermen" and "The Millennium Cross". You will then reach a left turn beside a converted church — take this left, which leads to a crossroads. Go straight through the crossroads and the clinic is the second building on the right.
From Killaloe
Coming from Killaloe, cross the bridge into Ballina. At the mini-roundabout (just past Molly's Pub) turn left onto the R494. Follow this road for roughly 10 km with the lake on your left. You will pass a carpark/picnic area signed "The Lookout"; just after it, take the next right — it's on a sharp corner, immediately after a sign marking a Y-junction. At the crossroads turn right, and the clinic is the second building on the right.
From Limerick
From Limerick, take the M7 to the Birdhill turn-off onto the R494. Follow the R494 through Ballina, keeping the lake on your left (do not cross the bridge). Continue for roughly 10 km with the lake on your left. You will pass a carpark/picnic area signed "The Lookout"; just after it, take the next right — it's on a sharp corner, immediately after a sign marking a Y-junction. At the crossroads turn right, and the clinic is the second building on the right.
Landmarks to look out for
The clinic is easy to recognise: it has a distinctive black-and-yellow wall outside and a large concrete driveway. There are two large mirrors on the road opposite the entrance, and there is frequently a motorhome parked in the car park.
