What We Do

PALS offers a large variety of assessment services to people of all ages. Our services focus on cognitive, behavioural, emotional and social assessments to develop a comprehensive profile of an individual.

With every assessment, a detailed report is generate which is then used to put interventions and strategies in place to help our clients achieve their full potential. PALS are accepted by the HSE, TUSLA, the Department of Education and Science (DES) and for qualification for the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) via the NUI. Reports are normally issued no later than 3 weeks from the assessment date, unless delayed by a need for additional information from third parties (e.g. schools or parents). Assessments are conducted using DSM-5 diagnostic criteria along with reliable and valid standardised testing.

Our services are listed below. You can learn more about each service, includijng pricing, by following the links to the detailed information pages.  Please note that our adult services are not available for the Comprehensive Assessments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can assessments be carried out?

The majority of our private  assessment's are done in our clinic.  We can visit schools for assessments, however only for schools that are within a 1 hour radius of the clinic.    For school visits, the school will need to contact us directly to arrange this.   Our more comprehensive ASD Assessments can only be completed in the clinic.

How long will it take to receive the report?

All reports are usually generated 2-3 weeks after the assessment. Sometimes, if we require additional information from a parent or teacher then reports may be delayed.

Do you provide multiple assessments for schools?
